Beautiful imperfections

I wrote this a while back, like a couple of years ago when i was feeling sad and down. Today i was looking through the files of my computer when i found my poems folder. I saw this beautiful poem and i thought that i should put it out there for the world to see, for any one who is having a bad day to feel good. Hope you enjoy it. 

Beautiful imperfections

Why does everything in life have to be perfect to people?

Perfect hair, Perfect body, Perfect job and Perfect grades

Perfect every thing

Within those flaws we reject lies something so beautiful

Something so wonderful….

Something a great lover of beauty would enjoy

Imperfections is what creates life…it’s what creates beauty

Art comes from flaws…imperfections…mistakes

Nothing in life can ever be prefect

So stop changing one thing

Altering the next so that you can be seamless

Instead embrace your flaws

Learn to love what you would call mistakes

And live life to the fullest

Enjoy yourself because  

You only live once
